Dr. Barno is a dentist who has been practicing for 15 years and spoke about the importance of leadership in scaling out a business. He believes that dentistry is a special profession and there needs to be strong leadership in order to build an organization that can compete with large corporations. During this podcast, Eric, Matthew, and Dr. Barno discussed his motivation behind expanding his practice: wanting to serve more people in their community and create jobs for those who don't want to work for corporate entities. Dr. Barno stresses the importance of having an exit plan but notes that he wants to continue doing dentistry when he's 65 or 70 and therefore has built an organization around this goal.
